Skin-friendly claims for new Indorama polyester range

Fibres developer Indorama Ventures has launch a new range of polyester fibres and filament yarns for apparel that it has labelled as “skin-friendly”.

The Bangkok-based company said it had tested the range, Deja Care, against 17 harmful chemicals.

It said it had achieved the skin-friendly functionality by using “more environmentally friendly chemicals” during the polymerisation process.
