Adidas raises full-year guidance and looks forward to exciting 2026
Sports group adidas has increased its full-year guidance for 2025. It issued a statement to this effect ahead of reporting its results for the third quarter and the first nine months of the year, which it will do on October 29.
Chief executive, Bjørn Gulden, said he was confident that third-quarter revenues would be a record.
For the full year the company said it now expected growth of around 9% on its 2024 revenues, which were €23.7 billion. It had previously limited its guidance to “high single-digit growth”.
Reasons for its optimism include a better-than-expected business performance in 2025 so far, as well as successful efforts to mitigate additional costs resulting from increased US tariffs.
“The focus is now on transitioning well into 2026,” Mr Gulden said, “which will be another exciting sports year with the Winter Olympics right at the beginning, the biggest football World Cup ever, and many more great events to look forward to.”
