Knitting machinery needs in the frame for Terrot
Textile machinery developer Terrot has unveiled a new frame platform called T-Frame.
The Chemnitz-based company described T-Frame as “a universal machine frame platform for large-diameter circular knitting machines”.
It explained that it saw T-Frame as a response to growing demand for flexibility, stability and operational safety. It said the new platform would work with current and future industrial knitting machines. Its claim is that this is a good combination of “a modular, future-ready design approach” and German engineering expertise.
“Circular knitting producers worldwide are facing growing pressure to increase out-
put while maintaining consistent fabric quality under tighter cost and labour constraints,” Terrot said. “At the same time, demand for ergonomic operation, machine safety and sustainable production concepts is rising.”
