‘Quality growth’ sets adidas up for record revenues in 2025
It will be March 4 before adidas confirms its full-year results for 2025, but it issued a statement at the end of January to share preliminary figures.
These preliminary calculations suggest the company achieved revenues of €24.8 billion last year, a record. This figure represents an increase of 13% compared to the previous year.
Chief executive, Bjørn Gulden (pictured), said there had been double-digit growth in all markets and across all channels. Something he said was even more important is that the growth adidas achieved in 2025 is what he called “quality growth”.
He explained that this meant selling “the right product in the right amount” in different markets, leading to “high full-price sell-throughs” and keeping discounts “under control”.
