Thailand-based group Indorama Ventures has announced a new global head of research development at its Avgol nonwovens business. Marco Bruno is taking up the role.

Indorama described Mr Bruno as someone with “deep knowledge” of textiles. It pointed out that he has had a hand in more than 10 international patent filings covering advanced breathable functional materials and innovative material engineering.
