Insulation innovation from Pontetorto
Fabric manufacturer Pontetorto will present what it has called “a new generation of insulation fabrics” at Performance Days in Munich (March 18 and 19).
Its claim is that the new insulation, Tecnocore, is more sustainable than traditional materials in this category because it uses less material.
As a result, Tecnocore is also a response to what Pontetorto calls “the growing demand for ever-lighter garments”.
In the build-up to Performance Days, the company’s general manager, Marco Toccafondi, said: “We are presenting a new generation of fabrics with excellent thermal insulation for first, second, and third layers, combining advanced technologies with sustainability.”
