End-use-specific fabrics make up new Cordura collection

Performance fabric brand Cordura has launched a new range called Adventurer. It said the new fabric collection was designed specifically to meet the needs of the outdoor apparel market.

Cordura said the new Adventurer collection reflected the brand’s legacy for durability but also offered a range of textures, weights and constructions. It said the collection was curated to help designers quickly identify fabrics “optimised for specific end-use requirements” including hiking, climbing, snow sports and trail running.

“We focused on two of the key pain-points that many designers face when selecting fabrics: time and information,” said Cordura’s director of business development, Trey Fonde. He said that Adventurer would improve the fabric-buying process.

Further curated collections will come from Cordura in the months ahead.
