Zipless sleeping-bag will provide natural comfort, Marmot says
California-based outdoor clothing and equipment brand Marmot has launched a new range of sleeping-bags that it says will allow people to sleep more comfortably while camping.
On bringing the new sleeping-bag, the Wraptor, to market, Marmot quoted studies that say 60% of people sleep on their side. It said that many sleeping-bags make this difficult because they are “designed to fight that posture”.
Aspects of the Wraptor that will make it easier for users to sleep in their preferred position include a no-zip design. Instead, the product has a press-stud at, roughly, hip height and a magnetic closure at the top. There is also a zipless vent for the feet at the bottom.
“It is designed to move with you, not against you,” the company said.
