US brands to co-chair WFSGI
Senior figures from New Balance and from Nike have been elected co-chairs of the World Federation of the Sporting Goods Industry (WFSGI).
This means that, for the first time, the organisation, which represents manufacturers, brands and retailers in the global sports products industry, will have representatives of two US-based brands lead the organisation together.
Chief operating officer of New Balance, Dave Wheeler, and Nike’s chief public affairs officer, Jorge Casimiro, are the two co-chairs. They will work with WFSGI chief executive, Emma Zwiebler.
