Second edition of European Outdoor Week confirmed

Organisers of the first European Outdoor Week have said they will build on the success of the first edition, which ran in Riva Del Garda from May 14-19.

Each event that makes up the initiative has been well supported by organisations from across the industry and the organisers have confirmed that a second edition will take place in the same location in 2027, running from May 8-13.

Component parts of European Outodoor Week include the Outdoor Impact Summit, which this year took place on May 14 and 15, with more than 220 delegates taking part.

On May 16, the European Outdoor Group held its summer meeting for members, at which almost 170 organisations were represented. EOG managing director, Christian Schneidermeier (pictured), outlined the association’s aspirations for future development, including the publication of a manifesto for activities to promote the outdoor industry.
