First-quarter growth for ASICS
Japan-based sports group ASICS has reported revenues of nearly $1.7 billion for the first quarter of 2026. This was an increase of 29.7% compared to the same quarter last year.
Its performance running category brought in revenues equivalent to $733 million, up by 19.1% year on year.
Sportstyle, another major category for ASICS, brought in $375 million this quarter, up by nearly 70%.
Its Onitsuka Tiger brand brought in more than $235 million, up by 33% compared to the same quarter in 2025.
In other categories, core performance sports, brought in just over $190 million, an increase of 19.8%, while apparel brought in $90 million, up by nearly 40% year on year.
