New names among World Cup shirt suppliers as adidas, Nike and Puma dominate
The 2026 FIFA World Cup is now under way in Mexico, Canada and the US. The competition will conclude on July 19.
A record number of national teams is taking part this time, 48 in total.
Our analysis shows that 14 of the teams will wear kit from adidas and that Nike and Puma tie for second place with 11 teams each.
Of the remaining 12 teams, two, Jordan and Bosnia-Herzegovina, will wear kit from Kelme. Two, Tunisia and, notably, Spain, will wear apparel from Italian brand Macron.
Eight brands will have one country each. Some of these, including Reebok (supplier to Panama) and Umbro (kit choice of DR Congo), are well known. Others less so.
Capelli Sport, a US brand, will provide shirts for the team from Cabo Verde. Marathon Sports, from Ecuador, will kit out its own national team. This is also the case for 7Saber, a brand from Uzbekistan. Colombian brand Saeta will provide kit for Haiti, Jako, a German brand, will do the honours for the Iranian team. Kappa will be represented at the competition by Iraq.
