Sustainable access to the ocean highlighted in Finisterre report
Cornwall-based outdoor brand Finisterre has released a new impact report, relating to its activity in 2025.
A specialist in products for surfers and other ocean activities, highlights in the report include the repair last year of nearly 3,000 products by Finisterre technicians.
It also rented clothing out to customers, who had a combined total of 4,500 days’ wear out of them in 2025.
The company also said it had adapted dozens of wet suits in the course of last year “to help support equal access to the ocean”.
Across the whole of its 2025 collection, 96% of the material Finisterre used, by weight, was recycled, organic or natural fibres.
