Zurich-based non-profit Fabric Loop has published a roadmap with the aim of helping Switzerland to establish a circular economy for textiles.

It lays down targets and suggests measures for meeting them. It envisages the establishment of an industry organisation that will coordinate and implement activities for the reuse, repair and recycling of textiles.

In the roadmap, Fabric Loop says that, by 2035, Switzerland should aim to collect and sort all textiles. It also says 60% of those materials should be reused or recycled in some form.
