Athletic footwear brand Puma has introduced three new versions of its Suede shoe, a style it introduced in the 1970s.

Included in the new versions is what Puma called “a bold reinterpretation” of the Suede shoe in black from heel to toe. It is fitted with a Vibram outsole and also has an elevated, chunky treaded sole.

Another is a premium edition, crafted using black and cream suede from English leather manufacturer Charles F. Stead. “Materials take centre stage,” Puma said.

The third new version “streamlines the Suede’s design language”, Puma said. This includes doing away with eyelets in favour of what it calls semi-concealed lace stays.
