Apparel division boost for Teijin in Q1

Japanese group Teijin has reported revenues of just over $1.4 billion for the first quarter of its current business year, the period to June 30, 2026.

This figure represents a fall of 21.2% compared to the same quarter a year earlier. However, the group reported revenues of $580 million for the quarter for its apparel division, an increase of 9.6% year on year.

It said it had experienced “firm sales” in that sector, particularly in China and North America.
