Retail division is Yue Yuen’s growth area

Footwear manufacturing group Yue Yuen has posted revenues of just under $4 billion for the first six months of 2026, a fall of 2.2% compared to the same period last year.

Its athletic and outdoor business, which involves acting as an outsource manufacturing partner for brands including ASICS, Nike, New Balance, adidas and Salomon, contributed just over $2 billion towards the group’s total. Revenues for this part of the business were down by 5.1% year on year.

Casual shoes and sports sandals brought in $420 million over the six-month period, down by 3.4%, while the soles and components part of the business achieved revenues of $181 million, down by 3.3%.

The one part of the business that registered growth was Pou Sheng, the group’s retail subsidiary. It had revenues of $1.3 billion, up by 3.5% year on year.
