Strategic partnership for Decathlon and Céraclès Coopérative
Sports retail and product manufacturing group Decathlon has announced its intention to acquire a 50% share in Céraclès Coopérative.
Formerly Sport 2000, Céraclès Coopérative was founded as a co-operative in 1966. By the end of 2025, it had a network of 735 stores across various formats, selling clothing, footwear and equipment for a wide range of sports and outdoor activities.
On changing its name to Céraclès Coopérative last year, it said its aim was to have 1,000 stores and sales of €1.3 billion by 2030.
Decathlon has said both groups can benefit from this new partnership owing to the complementarity of their offerings, locations and expertise.
