China-based textile group Shengtai has confirmed plans to create new production operations in Morocco. 

It will construct facilities in two cities, Fez and Skhirat, and will invest more than $200 million in the project. 

The company has said it plans to produce cotton yarn, fabrics and finished garments at these new plants.
