The chief executive of cycling apparel brand Rapha, Fran Millar, has announced that she is to leave her role. 

In her two years of leadership of the London-based brand, Ms Millar said that she set a vision and strategy for Rapha. “What remains is delivery,” she said. “To support that, the business will make significant organisational changes to reduce cost and drive efficiency.” 

Because this level of change call for “a different governance and leadership structure”, she said she proposed to the board that she step down. 

Fran Millar was previously chief executive of the Ineos Grenadiers cycling team and of motorcycle and outdoor clothing brand Belstaff.
