Luigi Robbiati, global business director of DuPont Glass Laminating Solutions and regional director of DuPont Packaging & Industrial Polymers for Europe, has recently been named a Cavaliere (Knight) to the Merit of the Italian Republic.
The honour is given annually by the President of Italy to Italian citizens who have represented Italy abroad and excelled in various industries, including the arts, economics, business and science. During his 17-year career at DuPont, Luigi has worked in Germany, the USA, Luxembourg and Switzerland.
Additionally, DuPont site in Lerma, Mexico, has recently received the Clean Industry Certification from the Mexican government for 2005-2007 for outstanding performance and continuous commitment to reducing environmental footprint.
