Messe Friedrichshafen in July 2005 was the launch for Nikwax’s latest development – a new spray waterproofer for soft-shell garments.

Nikwax SoftShell Proof can be used on garments with wicking linings or for applying to specific areas of the outer surface of a soft-shell garment. It contains improved TX.10i which is said to give better stretch and resilience while increasing resistance of the water-repellency and UV degradation.

The product is easy to apply due to its spray-on presentation and does not leave any fragrance after drying. It is also environmentally safe as it contains no chemical solvents, no fluorocarbons and is non-toxic, non-flammable and does not expel fumes.
