US performance apparel producer, Zensah, introduced its seamless performance socks at Outdoor Retailer, which are said to combine function with a higher level of comfort. 

"Using Zensah Fabric, our engineers have created the first performance sock which are blister resistant, moisture wicking and are also comfortable, said Ryan Oliver director of marketing.

Zensah socks include a seamless construction; anti-Bacterial fibres which reduce the risk of bacteria growth; ergonomic padding to protect the toe and heal area; a built in arch support; and are blister resistant.
The socks were launched at Outdoor Retailer Summer Market 2005 which was held in Salt Lake City, Utah from August 11-14.
