Oakley releases autumn footwear line

17/08/2005

Oakley Inc. has released its autumn 2005 footwear line for men and women, which includes technical pieces including sub-zero winter boots.

In its technical footwear category Oakley has launched a new boot called Casing - a successor to the previously popular Nail boot. Waterproof leathers and nubuck are combined with 600g Thinsulate insulation for winter protection down to -20°F. A breathable eVent waterproof membrane helps to keep the foot comfortably dry while a full gusseted tongue prevents unwanted debris entry. The tread design is engineered for all-terrain traction. Convenience features include a single-pull speed lacing system and a removable pocket for storing emergency items or personal effects.
