Zumiez posts record Q2 results
Total net sales for the second quarter increased by 28.7% to $39.4 million from $30.6 million reported in the second quarter of the prior year. The company posted net income for the quarter of $848,000 versus net income of $239,000 in the same quarter of the prior year.
Total net sales for the first six months of fiscal 2005 increased by 31.3% to $72.8 million from $55.4 million reported in the first six months of the prior year. The company posted net income of $808,000 versus a net loss of $439,000 in the prior year.

Zumiez stores cater to young men and women between ages 12-24, focusing on skateboarding, surfing, snowboarding, motocross and BMX.
