Saucony, Inc., a global supplier of performance athletic footwear, apparel and accessories, has announced that Sharon A. Barbano has been promoted to senior director of public relations for the Saucony brands, including Saucony, Saucony Originals, Hind and Spot-bilt.

Ms Barbano is a former member of the Board of Trustees of the Women's Sports Foundation and recipient of the Women's Sports Foundation President's Award. She was one of a handful of women invited by President Clinton to a White House reception honouring women in the business of sport.
