IWA 2006 to focus on security with European Police Instructors’ Conference

According to show organisers, the authorities and security requirements sector has been attracting increasing interest at IWA & OutdoorClassics. In response to this, a European Police Instructors’ Conference will be held for the first time within the framework of the Law Enforcement Practical Workshop on the eve of the fair,
The Police Instructors’ Conference is a joint project organised by the PiD – Polizeitrainer in Deutschland e. V. and NürnbergMesse. The Conference’s target group is the German ministries of the interior and subordinate police authorities, customs, judiciary, the Bundeswehr (Federal Army), the Bundesamt für Wehrtechnik und Beschaffung (Federal Office of Defence Technology and Procurement) as well as representatives of comparable institutions in other European countries.
Due to the renowned reputation of the event as well as the international significance of the IWA, we expect a high participation from Germany and other European countries,” said Bernd Pokojewski, press spokesman of the PiD e. V.
The conference is a continuation of the successful premiere of the Law Enforcement Practical Workshop staged for the first time on the eve of the IWA & OutdoorClassics 2005.
