US work and outdoor footwear brand, LaCrosse Footwear, Inc., has donated over 650 pair of rubber boots to the Police Relief Effort in order to equip law enforcement personnel assisting in the Hurricane Katrina relief efforts.

In addition to the donation of materials, LaCrosse Footwear has also established a matching cash contribution program for its employees who wish to give to the relief efforts.  LaCrosse Footwear will match one hundred percent of an employees' contribution to the American Red Cross up to $200.
