19/09/2005

Danish shoemaker ECCO has introduced its Spring/Summer 2006 men’s collection of classic, causal and sport model golf shoes featuring four completely new styles. The new introductions are the World Class Wing Tip GTX, Casual Cool Hydromax, Casual Cool GTX, and the Sport Saddle Hydromax.

The World Class Wing Tip GTX, includes overlays and a stitched, perforated trim inspired by the elegant lines of golf’s golden era, a water-repellent leather outsole and Gore-Tex membrane. The Casual Cool Hydromax has been influenced by modern street shoe fashions. It has a completely new ECCO outsole with additional traction bars alongside wider lacing for an athletic fit and feel. Comfort is ensured through a shock point in the heel, and a direct-injected PU midsole combined with a hard-wearing TPU outsole. The Casual Cool GTX with its modern technology, style and comfort is said to offer an all-weather package. It incorporates XCR Gore-Tex membrane and performance textile. The Sport Saddle Hydromax is a water-resistant shoe featuring aggressive, athletic styling and angular modern lines popular with many players. It is enhanced by a hi-tech, see-through 3D outsole and a shock-absorbing PU midsole with the ECCO Swing Stabiliser.

Each model features water- and weather-resistant leather and extra cushioning provided by PU-injected midsoles for superior shock absorption. The collection is available in many of the season’s most popular colours and inspired adaptations of traditional solid and two-tone saddle designs.
