Converse has announced a long-term, strategic partnership with professional basketball star Dwyane Wade to create footwear, apparel and equipment for the basketball brand.

Converse's legacy began even before professional basketball was established, starting with the Chuck Taylor All Star shoe in 1923.  Converse enlisted Wade at the beginning of his professional career as his style of play and the values he shared with the brand made him an ideal partner. He will continue to be actively involved in the design and development of every product using his name including footwear, apparel, accessories and equipment.
