Dystar wins patent lawsuit in USA

Germany-based textile dye and auxiliary producer, Dystar, has announced that it has won a patent infringement case against US-based C.H. Patrick Co., Inc. and Brazilian firm Bann Quimica, Ltda in connection with Dystar’s Indigo Vat Solution.

The US court has ordered the two companies to pay an undisclosed sum in compensation for the infringement.

Dystar’s Indigo Vat Solution is said to offer significant benefits in dyeing cotton yarns for denim fabrics which are said to include higher fabric quality and lower production costs.
