Techtextil Rossija, organised by Messe Frankfurt RUS, took place for the second time from September 7-9, 2005, at the Crocus Expo International Exhibition Centre in Moscow. The trade fair was held parallel to the first Interstoff Rossija for apparel fabrics and accessories.

Techtextil Rossija showcased 116 participating companies from 20 countries, including Austria, Belgium, Belarus, Bulgaria, China, Czech Republic, Finland, France, Germany, Great Britain, Greece, Italy, Japan, the Netherlands, Russia, Spain, Slovenia, Switzerland, Turkey, and the USA. Major participation came from Germany, mainly by the national activities at the "High-Tex from Germany" joint booth which presented 41 companies and institutes. High Tex from Germany” was organised jointly by the German Federal Ministry of Economics and Labour, the Association of the German Trade-Fair Industry and the Confederation of the German Textile and Fashion Industry.

Techtextil Rossija and Interstoff Rossija were attended over the three days by 3,050 visitors.
