RadiciFibres cooperates with Sanitized to develop new antimicrobial fibre
RadiciFibres launched a new antimicrobial hypoallergenic fibre, Radilon, at the recent Expofil show held in
Radici worked with Sanitized to develop and refine the Radilon range of products which include Sanitized Silver in the polymer matrix of the fibre itself. This is said to ensure long-lasting performance.
Radilon hypoallergenic is said to work by eliminating only the surplus bacteria. The process on which it is based inhibits the growth of harmful bacteria in excess of normal, healthy levels, but at the same time preserves the bacterial flora normally present on the skin surface.
RadiciFibres has also recently launched a new high tenacity PA 66 air jet yarn, Raditeck DYNA, developed for use in sportswear, outerwear, workwear and luggage. It combines durability with resistance to abrasion and tears.
It is available in a range of counts that makes it ideal for various applications such as oilskins for sailing or anoraks for climbers that have to withstand extreme conditions, protective workwear, backpacks, boots and sneakers, etc.
