DigiFab previews pre-treatment for nylon at Material World

29/09/2005

DigiFab Systems, a manufacturer of pre- and post-press digital-printing equipment, CAD-RIP software and pre-treated textiles, will preview its new pre-treatment for nylon at Material World in New York. The dry-process nylon eliminates the steps of washing and steaming in order to achieve post-printed colour fastness. The pre-treatment works with dispersed inks to allow the nylon to go straight from being printed and heat-treated to being a commercial-grade fabric which is said to be ideal for swimwear, flags, banners and athletic apparel.

The pre-treatment will officially be released in the next 30 days.
