Sympatex Technologies has unveiled a new laminate technology specifically designed for gloves. The direct laminate insert is said to reduce the need for bulky insulation and provide added feeling to the wearer.

It is based on the company’s Reflexion technology where the membrane is coated with just a few nanometres of pure aluminium which reflect back up to 75% of the body’s own heat, providing protection against cold with minimum weight.

This technology, which is exclusive to Sympatex, will be available for production in early 2006.
