BASF raises prices for polyamide extrusion and spinning grades

04/10/2005
Effective October 1st, 2005, BASF increased its prices for Ultramid base polymers, for polyamide 6 and polyamide 66 extrusion and spinning grades in Europe by 100 per metric ton. The company stated that this measure had been taken as a result of the sharp increase in feedstock prices.

The extrusion and spinning grades in BASF’s polyamide portfolio with the trade name Ultramid are used for the production of fibres and food packaging films.
