Leading waterproof, windproof and breathable membrane supplier Sympatex Technologies has announced a new partnership in the UK with Slovenian footwear manufacturer Alpina, which launched a range of footwear featuring the Sympatex All Weather membrane at the Go Outdoors Show in October.

The Sympatex membrane will feature in a wide selection of the Alpina spring/summer 06 footwear range including the backpacking boots Tibet, Aspen hiking boots, and the multi-activity Vision range.

Sympatex All Weather membrane offers a high level of breathability through its molecular components that transport water vapour away from the feet. At the same time the membrane is 100% waterproof and windproof providing absolute protection from the weather, which ensures that the wearer’s feet remain dry and comfortable in all conditions.
