After launching the first T-MAC in 2000, adidas has announced that the fifth edition of NBA star Tracy McGrady’s signature shoe series, the T-MAC 5 is set to launch globally on October 28, 2005.

On the technology and performance side, the shoe’s upper will feature lightweight synthetic leather with anatomically placed geoFIT pods and a moulded strap. Within the midsole there is internal EVA with a TPU heel inserts, chassis and customised moulded PU sockliner with adiPrene.

The T-MAC 5 will be featured in two initial colours: white/black/red and black/red, with an additional colour set to hit the market in February 2006 around the NBA All-Star Game.
