26/10/2005

Indian polyester producer Indo Rama Synthetics Ltd. has signed contracts for the construction of two new polyester polycondensation manufacturing facilities in Butibori, India, with each set to produce 140,000 tonnes of polymers per year.

In addition, two staple-fibre lines, which will be connected to one of the new plants, will also be built. Costing approximately 150 million, the plants are scheduled to be commissioned in mid-2006

Germany’s Zimmer AG - a designer, supplier and builder of turnkey plant and equipment for the production of polymers and synthetic fibres - has won the order to build the plants.
