Founder of Lija golf and sportswear honoured as entrepreneur

Canadian designer of women’s golf and sportswear and founder of Lija, Linda Hipp, has been recognised in the seventh annual Profit 100 ranking of Canada’s Top Women Entrepreneurs by Profit magazine.

Ranking Canada’s top women entrepreneurs by the annual revenue of their firms, the magazine profiles the country’s most successful female business owners. Lija by Linda Hipp was recognised as the number three company in terms of three-year revenue increase, with 402% growth. Earlier this year, the company was the only apparel brand named as one of Canada’s 100 fastest-growing companies overall.

Lija apparel (pronounced Lee-zha) – is worn by numerous LPGA Tour players, including Jill McGill. The company has received significant recognition within and outside the golf industry, achieving organic annual sales growth of at least 50% each of the past six years. Based in North America, Lija recently began selling into the UK, Australian and Japanese markets.
