Glenbrae steps into performance golf socks
UK-based performance knitwear brand Glenbrae Golf has announced plans to launch a range of high performance golf socks for the 2006 season.
The socks are a mix of cotton and Coolmax yarns, to offer comfort and durability and have been designed so as to work in conjunction with the natural biomechanical movements of the foot – in nine structural design features each with their own distinct benefit.
The features include a comfort toe, which eliminates uncomfortable and bulky seams inside the sock; a breathable sock bridge construction to enhance airflow; a comfort sock sole, with a right- and left-foot shaped Terry towelling construction incorporating Coolmax Active for tailored comfort; and an arch band, with increased elasticity around the arch of foot to hold the sock securely in place during activity; shaped heel with Coolmax.
