UK-based supplier of uniforms and workwear, Alexandra plc has announced its £4.5 million acquisition of de Baer plc, a tailored corporate clothing company.

Alexandra has acquired the trading assets of de Baer plc and its wholly owned UK subsidiary Rimac Limited from its administrators Damian Joseph and Iain Allan.

De Baer’s main markets are the travel and transport, financial and leisure and hospitality industries. According to a statement, the acquisition consolidates Alexandra’s position in the important sector of tailored corporatewear.

It will also extend Alexandra’s presence in the Irish market through the de Baer subsidiary, Image Development Limited.
