Internet and catalogue retailer specialising in outdoor clothing, outdoor equipment, golf apparel and equipment and footwear The Sportsman's Guide, Inc. has reported record results for the quarter ended September 30, 2005.

Net sales for the quarter were $61.5 million, compared with $57 million reported for the same period in 2004. The nearly 8% increase in consolidated net sales, year-on-year for the third quarter, was the result of sales growth at both The Golf Warehouse and The Sportsman's Guide. For the nine months ended September 30, 2005, net sales were $189.9 million, a 34% increase over the $141.4 million reported for the first three quarters of 2004.

Net earnings for the quarter were $2.2 million, a 50% increase over the $1.4 million reported for the same period in 2004.
