08/11/2005

Italian textile company Miroglio SpA has completed its acquisition of Germany’s Setila AG’s dope dyeing technology and Decora brand.

The unit will be transferred to the Miroglio plant located in Saluzzo, Italy, and will consist of pilot and semi-industrial lines, masterbatch production lines, a fully equipped Colour Laboratory and the archive of Decora formulations developed by Setila for its customers.

Industrial production of the dope dyed polyester filament will be made on the Saluzzo spinning lines. The colour formulation capabilities and the pilot lines will allow the production of sample quantities of 30 and 300 kg respectively of POY, drawn, texturised/air texturised yarn.
