Sympatex to exhibit at Meet the Buyers trade show

14/11/2005
European membrane supplier, Sympatex, will have a stand at the Meet the Buyers trade fair at the Reebok Stadium, Bolton, UK, on November 29, 2005. This will provide buyers with the opportunity to learn more about the unique qualities of Sympatex membranes and the latest membrane developments.

Sympatex will showcase its variety of non-porous waterproof, windproof and breathable membranes to suit all needs, the three unique qualities of which are said to ensure wearers of products using Sympatex membrane are kept dry and comfortable.

The membrane is intelligent”, reacting to the levels of perspiration produced by the foot - the more produced the harder it works, forcing the sweat through the billions of hydrophilic (water loving) zones to the outside.

It is extremely flexible and can stretch up to 300% in all directions.  Due to the non-porous structure, this unique flexibility will not affect the breathability.

The membrane is so lightweight it only adds 20 grams to a garment, that’s the equivalent of a postcard.

The latest developments on show will be its High2out and Reflexion membranes.  High2out has 120% more breathability, quickly wicking moisture away from the body. Reflexion is an aluminised membrane that reflects 75% of the body’s heat.
