Johnson Outdoors names new CFO

Outdoor recreation company Johnson Outdoors Inc. has appointed David W. Johnson to the position of vice president - chief financial officer (CFO) of the company. Mr. Johnson has served as interim chief financial officer since August 2005.
With a 20-year career that spans the banking, consumer packaged goods and outdoor recreation industries, Johnson held a number of financial positions before joining Johnson Outdoors in December 2001, first with The Northern Trust Company and later with The Procter & Gamble Company.
Johnson Outdoors designs, manufactures and markets a portfolio of brands across four categories: watercraft, marine electronics, diving and outdoor equipment.
