The Technical Rubber Products (TRP) Business Unit of Lanxess Deutschland GmbH has increased its prices for the entire product range with effect from November 1, 2005 or the termination of a contract, whichever was the later. For the products Buna EP (EPDM), Perbunan, Krynac, Baymod N (NBR), Baypren (CR), Therban (HNBR), Levapren, Levamelt and Baymod L (EVM) average prices have increased by between €0.10 and €0.50/kg, depending on the grade.

The reason given for the current price rises is a significant increase in raw material and energy costs.
