Ispo winter 06, which will take place from January 29 to February 1, is set to be the largest ispo in the trade fair’s history. More than 1,800 exhibitors will present their new sports fashion collections and product innovations at the event in Munich, 80% of which will be from abroad. The show’s organisers are attributing the increase in exhibitor numbers to pro-active promotion and projects such as Greenhouse” in the outdoor sector, Skilift” for the winter sport segment, and the award of the German Apparel Industry Foundation for young, innovative designers.
Outdoor_ispo has recorded particular growth and will occupy almost all of Halls B4 to B6. It will include companies such as Aigle, Arc´teryx, Asolo, Berghaus, Black Diamond, Camp, Columbia, Fjällräven, Fritschi, Gore, Jack Wolfskin, Keen, Lafuma, Lowe Alpine, Maier Sport, Mammut, Marmot, Meindl, Nike ACG, North Face, and Patagonia. Timberland will also return to the fair after a long absence.
