SR Gent goes into administration

UK clothing manufacturer SR Gent, which supplies well-known companies such as Marks and Spencer, has gone into administration. It employs 670 staff, 600 of which are based in the UK. The company closed its factory in Barnsley in January of this year, and a further facility in Rotherham in April.
