Vietnam prepares defence in anti-dumping probe

According to Vietnamese media reports, following a recent anti-dumping probe and calls for a 130% tariff rate to be imposed, the country’s leather and footwear industries are preparing to defend themselves against European Commission (EC) claims that Vietnamese companies are dumping footwear on the European market. Claiming they have evidence to prove that they have not dumped products, lawyers are preparing a case to illustrate that the EC’s findings were unfair.
